How Should I Budget for Building my Modular Home?
Posted on: Dec 02

How do I budget my project?

The following is a list of costs that you will need to consider when budgeting for your new modular home.

  • Clear lot & remove existing home if necessary
  • New home cost, including upgrades
  • Foundation cost (crawl space or basement)
  • Electric service installation
  • New Well cost, or connection fee to city water
  • New Septic system or cost to hook up to city sewer
  • Transport home to your lot
  • Home installation onto foundation (may need to include a crane for some Modular homes)
  • Plumbing Hookup (water, sewer, gas)
  • Electric Hookup
  • Additional site work (driveway, grading, steps, landscaping)
  • Permit and inspection fees

If this seems like a lot to consider, fear not! When you build your new home with Next Modular, we have the knowledge and experience to complete your building project with ease. Whether you're tackling everything yourself or leaving it to us, we'll help you through the process however you decide to approach it.
